Puppets in Practice: A Treasure Box of Creative and Relational Ways of Working

Facilitated by Dr Karen Treisman in collaboration with Ragdoll training and therapeutic services

Come and play, create, and explore at this unique, in-person, small group, hands-on taster day, run publicly for the first time in collaboration with Ragdoll.

Together, we’ll step into the creative world of puppets, discovering imaginative, versatile, and meaningful ways they can be used within therapy, counselling, and relational practice.

This is a day grounded in curiosity, creativity, and connection – a space to experiment, reflect, and try things out in a supportive and nurturing environment.

A wide range of puppets will be available to explore, and you’re warmly invited to bring your own. We’ll also share creative and accessible ways to make puppets using everyday materials, making this approach practical and inclusive.

You will leave with a ‘treasure box’ of ideas, tools, and possibilities to gently weave into your practice.

  • Those wanting to develop more inclusive and affirming practice
